How We Help Our Patients In North Salt Lake, UT
At Refuge Upper Cervical Chiropractic, we take a focused and corrective approach to health—starting at the top of the spine.
Unlike traditional chiropractic care, we specialize in the upper cervical area, the vital bones located where the head and neck meet. This area is uniquely designed. It’s the most mobile part of the spine and it has a profound affect on the entire body.
Because of its mobility and importance, even subtle misalignments in this region can disrupt how the body communicates, functions, and heals. Our care is precise, gentle, and personalized. There’s no twisting, cracking, or guessing. Using advanced imaging and analysis, we identify exactly how your upper neck is functioning and apply corrections that are specific to your needs.
The result? When this foundational area is functioning properly, the entire body tends to work better. Our patients often get great results even when nothing else has been able to help them.

Conditions We Commonly See
When the upper cervical spine is misaligned, it can cause problems throughout the body, often in ways that aren’t immediately obvious. That’s why many of our patients at Refuge Upper Cervical Chiropractic come to us with symptoms they’ve struggled with for years or even decades.
Below are some of the most common conditions we see:
- Headaches & Migraines
- Vertigo
- Dizziness
- Post-Concussion Syndrome
- Neck Pain & Stiffness
- Trigeminal Neuralgia
- Whiplash
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic Pain
- Dysautonomia
- Chronic Back Pain
These symptoms are often signs of deeper dysfunction in the nervous system—especially in the area where the head and neck connect. By restoring proper alignment and improving communication between the brain and body, we help patients experience real, lasting changes in their health.
If you’re tired of chasing symptoms and ready for a more focused approach to healing, we invite you to discover the difference upper cervical care can make.
